Chiranjeevi Srikanth Odela Sudhakar Cherukuri

Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas has been in the industry for more than a decade now and he has produced many movies but except for Dasara most of his movies turned out to be flops or disappointments.

He started his career with Run starring Sundeep Kishan which was a remake of Malayalam film. It was a decent film but box office wise didn’t fetch much profit for Cherukuri’s banner.

He continued producing films like Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Aadavaallu Meeku Johaarlu, Viraataparvam, and Ramarao On Duty.

All the movies had popular stars like Ravi Teja, Rana Daggubati, Sharwanand, Rashmika Mandanna, and Sai Pallavi. But still, the films failed to leave a mark.

Then came Dasara starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh directed by Srikanth Odela which turned out to be a big success. Then came Rangabali which again turned out to be a disaster.

However, since Dasara things have started turning around for SLV Cinemas. However, Sudhakar Cherukuri just now announced their biggest project with Megastar Chiranjeevi directed by Srikanth Odela.

The announcement alone has generated immense hype. If things go as planned, this project has the potential to create buzz similar to Pawan Kalyan’s OG.

This is exactly the type of film fans expect from Chiranjeevi. While Srikanth Odela isn’t a big name yet, the way he extracted performances in Dasara aligns with the kind of direction Chiru needs at this stage of his career.

If the script is sincere, the biggest complaints about Chiranjeevi’s recent films could finally be addressed.

Exaggerated attempts to recreate vintage Chiru have often resulted in cringe. Instead, focusing on a solid story is the way forward.

SLV Cinemas also has a promising lineup, including The Paradise with Nani, King Jockey Queen featuring Deekshit Shetty, a project with Vishwak Sen, another with Dulquer Salmaan, and a movie featuring Mokshagna directed by Prasanth Varma.

These six films are currently in various stages of production.

Let’s hope Sudhakar Cherukuri and his banner achieve much-needed success and recognition with the Chiranjeevi-Srikanth Odela film which has huge potential.
