Shruti Haasan has everything to make it big as a heroine, she has the glamour and is a decent actress as well seen with films like D Day and Three. But unfortunately for her despite that combination she failed to make it big even though she got one big project after the other. She was eventually branded as an iron leg.
Then came the Pawan Kalyan starrer Gabbar Singh, the film finally gave her the wings of success and broke the tag of iron leg. She has since had many successful films in Telugu like Balupu, Yevadu and Race Gurram. She even saw mild success with Poojai in Tamil too and has two of the biggest sure shot successful films like Puli and Ajith’s next in her kitty.

It is the Hindi film industry that is proving to be an Achilles heel for her as her fortunes has been pretty dismal there. After a long gap luckily for her the actress is doing a film opposite big star in Hindi in the form of Gabbar. The film which is a remake of Chiranjeevi starrer Tagore has a subject that is bound to click. Call it strange coincidence but the film which changed her fate in Telugu Gabbar Singh too was a remake.
So if Gabbar Singh in Telugu gave her the big break, can the Gabbar in Hindi too do the same for her career in Bollywood? Will the Gabbar do his magic for the second time in Shruti’s career?
