Pawan Kalyan has finally wrapped up the shooting of his long-delayed historical drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
While fans can breathe a sigh of relief, only the dubbing portion remains before the film moves into its final post-production phase. A release date is expected to be announced soon, marking the end of a project that faced several delays over the years.

Meanwhile, OG, another highly anticipated film starring Pawan, has resumed shooting after a significant break.
Nearly 75% of the film was completed before the Andhra Pradesh elections. However, it was put on hold due to Pawan’s political commitments.

Now, after nearly one and a half years, he is back on set. The team is working quickly to wrap up the remaining portions.
Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya, OG is a gangster drama. Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist, while Priyanka Mohan stars as the female lead.

One major challenge the team faces is maintaining visual continuity. Pawan has not undergone any major physical transformation to match his earlier look. He hasn’t been to the gym or done any body makeover to return to his original fitness.
As a result, the film will rely heavily on CGI and VFX to make him appear fit and youthful—similar to Salman Khan’s look in Sikandar, where visual effects were used and his face was digitally swapped onto another artist’s body due to his rib injury.
With music by Thaman and growing excitement among fans, the makers are cautious about announcing a release date. They aim to set a realistic timeline, keeping in mind the unpredictable political schedule.
Many fans believe OG is Pawan’s true comeback film, as it showcases him in the larger-than-life avatar they’ve been waiting to see.
