Several discussions in the Tollywood circles are surrounding the massive ticket prices that are in effect for Pushpa 2. The film is releasing with unprecedented prices in the Telugu states and things are looking real positive for it to set mighty records on opening day in the domestic market.

At the same time, there is also dissent talk on these prices as certain people opine that these high prices are detrimental to the industry and are to be avoided.
Coming to the topic now, the next superstar film after Pushpa 2 is Ram Charan’s Game Changer. There are already discussions about what kind of pricing model the film will come with.

Earlier, Devara had a standard hike and the prices were RS 413 at plexus which is more or less an accepted norm these days.
But in the case of Pushpa 2, the prices are Rs 530 for the first weekend. These are the highest officially permitted prices for a Telugu film till date. The makers, who are confident about the content are in an attempt to make the most of the hype with these prices.

As for Game Changer, it will have a clear precedent set ahead of it. In the next 4 days, we will understand how the ticket prices prospect worked out for Pushpa 2 so it will set a trend for the industry.
If Pushpa 2 pulls audience in big numbers despite the prices, the chances are that more superstar films could go this way in the future. Else, there will be market corrections.
For now, it has to be seen if Game Changer will go with NTR’s Devara prices and take the risk and go with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 prices.
