But now the unprecedented success of Animal has turned the tide for her in her favor. The film has turned out to be a huge hit despite being flawed and problematic. The youth has overlooked the flaws in the film and is getting a kick out of the out-of-the-box antics of Ranbir Kapoor.
Also, Rashmika is getting her fair share of credit for the film’s success. When the film’s trailer came out she was trolled for her dialogue delivery and dead eyes. But after seeing the film, most of the audiences and critics have praised her performance as Gitanjali.
It is after many years that a South Indian actress has gained such a big success in Bollywood. Her next release is Pushpa 2 which is the most anticipated film of 2024. From here Rashmika needs to choose her projects carefully and selectively and not accept movies of every Tom, Dick, and Harry.
