In the recent past there are few directors who have made it big suddenly and have been struggling since then to get back to form but have finally managed to find form after big struggle. Take the example of Harish Shankar who suddenly became big overnight with the success of Gabbar Singh, a year later he delivered a dud and now even after a year of its release the director is yet to take his film to sets and all he has to show is some casting calls for a movie. Would it be a similar fate for Srinu Vytla as well?
In the past Srinu Vytla after the disappointment of Andarivadu went through a similar phase. Although he had a film in his hand it took months for the film to release even after its completion. The film was Dhee starring Manchu Vishnu and it is the film credited for starting the ‘Brahmi’ hits trend or the Srinu Vytla formula. But part of that formula and success was duo, Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan, with whom he has troubled relation now.
Now looking at the future, Srinu Vytla was in talks with Ram Charan to start a film. Similarly Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan have successfully narrated a script to Ram Charan. The talk in the industry right now is that a compromise of sort is being set up between these two warring parties and Srinu Vytla is asked to direct the writer’s project. Will Srinu Vytla compromise or will he wait for his opportunity to come like Harish Shankar is doing currently?
