Wow: Minugurulu bags another award

Telugu film Minugurulu produced and directed by Ayodhya Kumar Krishnamshetty won acclaim as one of the rarest film made in Telugu. It had been the select film for the 9th India-International Children’s Film Festival held at Bengaluru in January this year. Apart from this, Minugurulu got another rare honour like Aamir’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ to be chosen as a film to be used for educational purposes.

The film was selected by Rajiv Vidya Mission, Andhra Pradesh to be telecast all over the State through MANA TV for school children, teachers, students, care takers of hostels and administrators. This happened in the month of March this year. News afresh, Minugurulu is chosen for ATA (American Telugu Association) Awards. That’s a great news indeed!

The film featured 40 visually impaired children from real life. The main story revolves around these children who overcome their disability and successfully come out with a solution to their problem looming over their heads and their future. Child artist Deepak Saroj stole the entire show with his brilliant performance.
