‘Toxic’, the upcoming film of Superstar Yash has encountered a big setback, leading to its release date getting pushed back by several months.
According to reports from Amar Ujala, Yash instantly disliked Kiara Advani’s acting in the film, instructing director Geetu Mohandas to completely scrap off the whole Mumbai shoot that had taken almost a month to complete.
Amidst the news of Yash’s intense dislike of Kiara Advani’s acting, reports have also emerged suggesting that Nayanthara may now be taken in as the new lead in the film.
While the film was earlier scheduled to be released during the summer holidays, this unforeseen delay and potential reshoots have now pushed the date ahead to the Christmas holidays.
Fans are particularly excited about ‘Toxic’, as the film will be Yash’s return to the big screen after massive success in KGF 2 in 2022.
According to reports, Yash had given the green light to ‘Toxic’ after outright rejecting dozens of offers from Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam filmmakers.
He then finally chose this project, with Geetu Mohandas helming the direction, having a longstanding experience of almost 16 years in filmmaking.
