Kannada Star Yash delivered an iconic blockbuster in the form of KGF, and this was largely due to the persistent efforts of director, Prashanth Neel.
Now, Yash is testing his luck again with his next film Toxic, which has been in the production for more than two years now.
Overall, it has been more than four years since the release of the second part of KGF, but Yash is yet to come up with a new project. The anticipated Toxic is taking forever to be completed.
After looking at the Hindi run of Peddi which posted ordinary numbers, Yash must be in for another reality check now.
After claiming extreme commercial success in the Hindi belt with the second part of KGF, the expectation would have been such that you would make a strong case with Toxic as well. This is the reason why the makers extensively on Bollywood attraction by even bringing Kiara Advani.
With so many factors involved, Toxic must now be an iconic blockbuster at the ticket counter, if it is to cement Yash’s legacy as a big star. Considering the fact that the Hindi audience are very particular about their choices in recent past, this is a big challenge.
If Toxic does not match the expectations at the ticket counters globally, then the Kannada star could be delivered brutal reality check outside the KGF madness zone.
