When director Adithya Chopra announced few days ago about his next film through an open letter, the project had become a sensational one overnight. People all over were discussing seriously as to who could be the star in the film based on the hints given by the director.

It was clear from the outset that the film would not star an aged hero and the director’s words confirmed it. This meant that the long time association of the Adithya with Shah Rukh Khan had come to an end. It left with only two choices either Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh. Well it looks like the latter has bagged the film. It could be a major turning point in the young star’s career if that’s the case.
Adithya Chopra has in twenty years directed only three films, the last of which came in 2008. There has been lots of anticipation regarding the next film from this iconic director of DDLJ and when the director himself came forward with it, all hell has broken loose among Bollywood fans.
