Comedian and actor Praveen, who has earned a special place for himself with several films, is all set to launch a new project titled Bakāsura Restaurant. However, Praveen is not actually opening a real restaurant—the title refers to a film in which he plays the lead role. The first look of this movie was unveiled by the film team on Friday.

In the poster, Praveen is seen cooking with a large ladle, while other characters also appear in the background. Notably, VIVA Harsha and Shining Phani are seen playing quirky and special roles. While Praveen plays the lead, VIVA Harsha appears in the titular role of Bakāsura.
Other key roles are played by Krishna Bhagavan, Shining Phani, and KGF’s Garuda Ram. This film marks the directorial debut of SJ Shiva and is being produced by Lakshmayya Achari and Janardhan Achari under the SJ Movies banner. With shooting completed, the film is ready for release. As part of promotions, the makers have unveiled the first look.

Speaking on the occasion, the director said:
