The trailer of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, an upcoming romantic comedy was unveiled on Monday. The film, written and directed by Mahesh Babu P, stars Naveen Polishetty and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.
At the trailer launch, Naveen spoke of his experiences working with the impeccable team. Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty is an entertaining drama surrounding the complications in the relationship between two people, he said. “I, Anushka and UV Creations been waiting for this day since two years. I was tensed about picking the right script after the success of Jathi Ratnalu.”
Audiences want new stories, and they deserve something interesting, he says. “I was very impressed with the story. When I inquired about the female lead, I wondered if they were referring to ‘Baahubali’ Anushka. In my fantasies, I was sailing in the ship.” Naveen described her as a superb performer and expressed his excitement to work with her.
He said, “It is also the comeback vehicle of Anushka who kept away from the movies for a few years now. “I’m happy that I got to share the screen with Anushka garu. Our combination scenes have come out very well. This is a movie that runs on the chemistry of the hero and heroine characters.”
Naveen shared a special incident about a fan. He said “A female fan, who was injured in a fire accident, says that she watches my movie Jathi Ratnalu every day to recover from depression. What more do I want as an actor? No matter how many box office hits I get, no matter how many records I achieve, I can’t find more satisfaction as an actor. So the love you showed me was very moving. I’m here to entertain you all,” says Naveen.
