Boyapati Sreenu made an announcement about the probable sequel for his blockbuster movie Akhanda with Nandamuri Balakrishna, during the trailer launch event of his ongoing film Skanda starring Ram Pothineni.
“I’ll be doing Akhanda 2 with Balakrishna for sure. But it may not happen immediately. I’ve been closely observing Balakrishna for last 15 years. He is a kind of actor who can immerse into any given character,” said Boyapati who called Skanda a wonderful movie with elements for the masses and families.
Ram Pothineni expressed his gratitude to Balakrishna for all his support since his first movie Devadas. “Thaman’s background score will be a major asset. We will release the next song soon and it will be a feast for the masses. It was really a tough task to attain this rugged look for Skanda.”
Balakrishna showered praises on Telugu audience for encouraging good cinema. “No audience in the world supports cinema like the Telugu audience. Boyapati and I together delivered three blockbusters. We don’t usually talk about our previous movies when we work on a new movie. I’ve been seeing Ram’s journey since 2006. We should feel proud of Ram for all his achievements. I wish to see him reach new heights in his career.”
The trailer of the movie received a massive response. The movie is slated for release on September 15th.
