CRDA had finalized the details regarding the extent of damage to houses in the core capital for laying roads. Earlier there were rumours in certain sections of media that more than 4000 houses have to be razed down. But CRDA officially announced that only 470 houses have to be brought down to construct the roads.

The state government and CRDA tried their level best to minimize the damage as it will rub people on the wrong side and also increase the compensation that have to be paid to the lost property. The CRDA will very soon announce the compensation package for the houses that are going to be razed down. The government is expected to be liberal in the compensation package.
Construction of a World Class Capital is one of the prominent poll promises of Chandrababu Naidu. He is adamant to complete the core capital by that time and go to elections showing it to the people. This ambitious project is the talk of the nation as it will be the first capital city in India to be built from the scratch.
