The ACB Court has instructed SIT to deposit the money seized in AP liquor case in a bank. The ACB asked SIT to deposit the money in Vijayawada SBI, Machavaram branch.
SIT had submitted a memo to the ACB Court regarding the seizure of Rs 11 crore at a farmhouse in Kacharam in Shamshabad, Hyderabad. The money was part of the kickback money in Rs 3200 crore AP liquor scam.
SIT is gearing up for further raids in Hyderabad and Vijayawada to recover the money got as kickbacks in the liquor case. Amidst talks of arrest of ex CM Jagan in the case, the raids have caught the attention of AP citizens.
While it was reported that A1 Raj Kasireddy had directed to stash money in Sulochana Farmhouse, Raj Kasireddy filed an affidavit on Thursday morning claiming that he had nothing to do with the money found.
Meanwhile, there are media reports saying that Raj Kasireddy and Vijayender Reddy of Sulochana Farmhouse and Arete Hospital share a deep friendship and financial relationship.
