Historically, AIMIM is known for being on the side of the ruling party. During YS Rajashekar Reddy’s time, it was with Congress. When BRS was in power, it was with KCR for almost 10 years. Now, going by the current scenario, it looks like the friendship between MIM and BRS has ended.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi made hot comments against BRS today while speaking to the media about the Musi Rejuvenation Project. He alleged that BRS did nothing for the Musi Beautification Project while it was in power.
He stated, “Didn’t BRS make a plan for the Musa River, and didn’t I oppose it? You started this issue. BRS needs to introspect. It made all the planning.” Owaisi said that MIM will welcome the Musi Rejuvenation project if the houses on the river bed are not touched.
Responding to BRS allegations of MIM teaming up with Congress, Owaisi asserted that BRS won almost all seats GHMC in the 2023 assembly elections only because of MIM’s support.
“You lost because of the mistakes you committed. Had you not repeated 24 MLAs to contest again in elections, you would have been in the government today. But you guys were so arrogant. If you talk about MIM, I can talk a lot about BRS. If I open my mouth about BRS, you will be ashamed,” Owaisi added.
These unexpected counter from Owaisi hint at the cracked relationship between BRS and MIM, opined the people on social media. They felt that he might be changing his sides once again.
