As was anticipated, the alliance government has won the no-confidence motion against Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) mayor. It was an easy win for the alliance against current mayor Golagani Hari Venkata Kumari.
The meeting started at 11 am on Saturday under the chairmanship of GVMC in-charge commissioner, collector MN Harendhiraprasad. With YSRCP members leaving the party one after the other, the strength of the alliance grew naturally.
