22-Week Target: Singapore’s Secret Plan for Amaravati 2.0!

Amaravati 2.0 Master Plan

Andhra Pradesh’s capital city development has hit the fast track, with Singapore-based urban planning firm Surbana Jurong committing to deliver the comprehensive “Amaravati 2.0 Master Plan” within a strict 22-week deadline. The commitment was made directly to senior officials of the Andhra Pradesh government during a recent high-level planning meeting.
The upcoming blueprint will cover a massive area of 709.6 square kilometers. Unlike standard blueprints, the Amaravati 2.0 framework focuses heavily on three core pillars: building world-class sustainable infrastructure, creating strategic investment pathways to attract global corporations, and outlining a scalable map for the city’s future expansion over the next few decades.

By engaging Surbana Jurong, the international consortium heavily involved in the city’s original planning phases, the current administration aims to seamlessly bridge the initial capital city vision with modern technological and economic requirements. Setting a clear 5-month timeline highlights the government’s urgency to transition from the layout stage to active grounding and infrastructure development on the site.
