Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority’s (CRDA) permanent building will be inaugurated by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati. The building’s inaugural date has been set for August 15.
CRDA building is spread across 3.2 acres and has 7 floors. CRDA will also house integrated control room.
The current CRDA office will be given to MEPMA.
The CRDA office will be the first government building to be inaugurated in the capital. Already, the outside elevation works are nearing completion and the inside work is on going.
Apart from 7 floors, there will be a terrace floor. The Minister’s office and Commissioner’s office are also almost complete. Landscaping, underground water pipes and electric cables work is nearing completion.
The tender was secured by KPC Projects Limited for Rs 160 crore. Four other offices have been built across CRDA building on the same premises, that are also nearing completion.
The alphabet A that stands for Amaravati is also complete.
