A few days ago, Minister Botsa Satyanarayana toured Amaravati and reviewed the status of construction of various Government Buildings there. Back then, everyone is surprised about the Government’s interest in Amaravati after neglecting it for more than a year.
But then, a report in Andhrajyothy claimed that the Government is keen on keeping some of the Government buildings for sale to pool in funds. First on the list will be apartments and bungalows constructed for the lawmakers, Gazetted Officers, IAS Officers, etc.
The Government is keen on pooling around 5000 Crore from this sale and is reportedly studying the rates in the surroundings. This money will come in handy for executing various welfare schemes. Jagan Government is looking at close to 85,000 Crore for various Welfare Schemes in this year.
On the other side, the farmers who are agitating against the Three Capitals idea of the Government will mark 200 days of their struggle on coming Friday.
