AK Ganguly and his team also talked to some of the farmers of the area and got their opinions on the alleged issues before the tribunal. Currently, both the sides are giving their final arguments before the Tribunal. The team has noted the bund arrangement and flood mitigations works along with the irrigation officials.
There are allegations that some political parties are behind these cases to prevent the capital coming up in Amaravati. There are also allegations that these people want to obstruct development from happening so that Chandrababu Naidu can be portrayed as a failure before the people when he runs into the next elections in 2019.
