Ambati-Rambabu-YSRCPDuring his visit to water projects in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu inspected the Gundlakamma project in Prakasam district and addressed a public meeting. In his speech, he criticized the Jagan government for its negligence in handling the Gundlakamma project. He also took a dig at AP Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu, accusing him of being silent on irrigation projects and focusing on trivial matters like the ‘BRO’ movie.

Chandrababu Naidu further mentioned that Ambati Rambabu is likely to lose in Sattenapally, where he is currently representing, and may contest from Giddalur in Prakasam district instead. He warned the people of Giddalur to be vigilant about Ambati’s intentions. It was not widely known that Ambati Rambabu’s constituency was changing until Chandrababu mentioned it during his speech.

Reportedly, Ambati Rambabu is facing dissent within the party in Sattenapally, with some leaders openly opposing his candidature in the upcoming elections. There have been rumors that he might shift from Sattenapally to Avanigadda. Now, Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed that Ambati will contest from Giddalur in the forthcoming elections.
