The 2024 Lok Sabha elections, spanning from April 19 to June 1 across seven phases, will conclude with vote counting on June 4.

Exit poll predictions will be revealed on the final polling day, June 1.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is aiming high, targeting 370 seats. However, achieving this might be challenging, and crossing 300 seats would already be a significant accomplishment for the BJP.

On the other hand, the Congress party faces a tough task to improve its performance, having struggled in the past two elections. It has rallied opposition parties under the banner of INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance).

In the 2019 elections, the BJP won 303 seats, while Congress secured 52. Other parties collectively won 187 seats. The BJP-led NDA reached 352 seats, while the Congress-led UPA secured only 91.

The 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections saw the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) securing a landslide victory with 151 out of 175 seats, while the incumbent Telugu Desam Party (TDP) won 23 seats. The Jana Sena Party (JSP) gained one seat.

Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy formed the government, marking the second assembly in Andhra Pradesh after the state’s bifurcation.

In the upcoming 2024 elections, pre-polls indicate that the TDP alliance is likely to win over 100 seats and form the new government. It remains to be seen if the exit polls will confirm this trend or if there will be any surprises.




As the nation awaits the June 4 results, all eyes are on the forthcoming exit polls on June 1.
