A young woman with a promising future made the heartbreaking decision to end her life. After crossing boundaries to chase her dreams, she took a tragic step and left this world too soon.
Getting into details, a second-year engineering student from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), located at Bihta on the outskirts of Patna, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her hostel room.
The girl has been identified as a resident of Andhra Pradesh. A suicide note was also found at the spot. The girl’s parents have been informed about the tragic incident.
According to the police statement, a call was received last night around 10.15 pm informing them about the incident. Immediately, police reached the spot and shifted the girl’s body to a nearby hospital, where she was officially declared brought dead. The cops further stated that the body had been sent for postmortem for further examination.
The exact cause of the incident remains unknown as the police investigation is underway. Meanwhile, students of the institution have staged a protest on the NIT campus, expressing their outrage against the administration following this tragic event.
