Andhra Pradesh government had started shifting its staff and administration to Amaravati. Employees are on roads searching for alternate accommodation for their temporary offices in the truncated state. Meanwhile, things are not very different in Telangana as the state government decided to rebuild a new Secretariat by demolishing the existing buildings.

Telangana Officials are hunting for alternative buildings in the city to accommodate Secretariat staff during the construction period. But the accommodations troubles have hit as no proper alternatives were found. Government advisers, ministers and CMO officials should be allowed to work from home till the new Secretariat is constructed.
The foundation stone ceremony for the secretariat will happen some time between August or September. While the CM is keen on completing it in one year, officials are expecting it to take two years for completion. Noted architect Hafeez Contractor was roped in to design the buildings and its architecture.
