Rajahmundry MP and Andhra Pradesh BJP president, Daggubati Purandeshwari stated that there are positive advancements in the development of the state under NDA leadership.

She said along with the ongoing Bhogapuram International Airport, the government is planning to build four small airports in Kuppam, Dagadarthi, Nagarjuna Sagar and Mulapeta.

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu held talks with the officials of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) regarding the construction of these small airports during his recent visit to Bhogapuram.

Taking to the social media platform X, Purandeshwari said that with NDA in power in both state and centre, the government is planning to build new airports in AP.

She added that these airports will not only improve connectivity but also help the economic progress of Andhra Pradesh.

“The airports are proposed to come up near Kuppam in Chittoor district, Dagatharthi in Nellore, Nagarjuna Sagar in Guntur and Mulapeta in Srikakulam district,” stated Purandeshwari.

If these airports are constructed, Andhra Pradesh will become one of the states to have the highest number of Airports in the country.




Incidentally, TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu is the Union Minister for Civil Aviation, which will be a boosting factor for the construction of airports in the state.
