AP Fibernet chairman GV Reddy has been taking serious action against officials involved in wrongdoings and corrupt activities during the YCP regime.
Today, he announced that 410 employees who were illegally appointed during YCP’s rule have been terminated. He said that the YCP government made many such illegal recruitments over the past five years.
He alleged that people were employed in the organization when there was no necessity, only by obliging the orders of a few YCP leaders. He went on to allege that cooks and drivers from YCP leaders’ homes were employed in Fibernet and paid salaries every month.
The management of AP Fibernet didn’t even give appointment letters to these people and directly enrolled them into payrolls.
All these employees are now sacked, and legal action is expected to be taken against them.
A few days ago, GV Reddy unravelled the scam done by director Ram Gopal Varma and the former YCP government. It was found that during YCP’s regime, Fibernet made an agreement of Rs. 2.15 crore with Ram Gopal Varma for the streaming of his movie Vyuham.
As per the agreement, RGV should be paid as per the views the movie got. However, he was paid an amount of Rs. 1.15 crore for just 1,863 views the movie got. This means the previous government paid him around Rs. 11,000 per view.
GV Reddy said that RGV was given 15 days time to payback the money. A case would be filed against him if he fails to pay the money.
