Film artist Pakija had regaled the Telugu audiences with her comedy roles. Pakija or Vasuki which happens to be her original name, is in deep financial crisis these days.
She has no roles to play and this led to her living in abject poverty.

Pakija had recently made a video requesting financial support from the CM and Deputy CM of AP.
Fortunately for her, the video went viral and was brought to the notice of AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan Kalyan sanctioned Rs 2 lakh for Pakija. She was called to Jana Sena office in Mangalagiri and given the money. Incidentally, Pakija does not have a husband or children.
Overwhelmed by the support, Pakija thanked the Deputy CM for his big heart.

She said that Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu helped her in the past. She shared that she wears sarees given by Chiranjeevi’s wife.
Pakija revealed she had come to Vijayawada to meet the AP CM twice from her home town Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu. But could not meet him.
Pakija requested if a pension can be arranged for her by the AP government.
She profusely thanked Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for the aid and said his family showed they were there for her.
