The political operations of YS Jagan are very hard to predict as no one knows what is about to come up next. This is again on display as he has started to hibernate again with regard to his political approach.
While all of India is currently focussed on the election commission allegations, and resignation of chief electoral officer Gyanesh Kumar, the designated opposition leader of AP, Jagan is nowhere to be seen.
Ironically, the very same Jagan had made severe allegations against the EVM procedure when he lost the 2024 election. He repeatedly said there is an EVM scam that happened in Andhra Pradesh, and that is the reason why he lost.
And now that he is actually presented with the opportunity of raising his voice along with the rest of the opposition parties in the country, Jagan is completely stagnated. He is nowhere be seen in the protest arena.
On one hand, the opposition INDIA bloc had been approaching Jagan through the left parties and signalling a potential coming together. But Jagan is not even bothered to at least meet them for courtesy.
At the end of the day, politics require a lot of diplomacy and maturity during tough times and Jagan is presented with a perfect opportunity of gelling with the national opposition and gain significance.
But considering the monotonous approach of Jagan, he is sticking to his original pattern and rejecting all possible advancements. This one-sided approach landed him with 11 seats in Andhra Pradesh, but he is still not mending his ways, a senior political analyst commented with M9 today.
