In both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, there’s a bustling betting scene surrounding the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.

The numbers are staggering, with hundreds of crores being wagered by bookies who are putting their money on various outcomes – from the winners and losers to the pivotal leaders and the seat count of parties like YSRCP and TDP alliance.

Additionally, people are anxiously checking betting sites to gauge public sentiment. If the odds are high for a particular candidate, it’s believed they are less likely to win. This adds another layer of tension and speculation to an already charged electoral atmosphere.

Stakes are particularly high for Pawan Kalyan and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Expectations are high for Pawan, especially considering Pawan’s nomination rally, attended by thousands of supporters.

Bookies have already set odds, like 1:20 for Pawan’s defeat in Pithapuram and similar odds for Chandrababu Naidu’s defeat in Kuppam.

The popularity of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is visible, particularly in Pulivendula, where he won with a historic lead in the last elections.

As the election approaches, the betting fever is expected to escalate further. Bets are expected to soar, reaching an estimated Rs. 2000 crore in coastal Andhra Pradesh alone before the polls, and possibly doubling or quadrupling before the counting begins.

Not just limited to individual candidates, separate betting rounds are also occurring on the winning prospects of each party in Lok Sabha seats, the majority in Assembly segments, and even speculation on the next Chief Minister.
