In a positive development for unemployed youth, the Andhra Pradesh government has begun work on preparing a job calender. Officials are currently collecting data on vacant posts across various government departments.
The government aims to finalise a clear and structured job calender at the earliest. Departments have been asked to submit details of existing vacancies to streamline the recruitment process.
Since coming to power, the Chandrababu Naidu government has taken steps to fill pending posts. Under the mega DSC drive, 16347 teacher posts were filled within 150 days.
In addition, around 6000 constable posts have also been filled across the state. The government is now reviewing vacancy data from all departments to plan further recruitment.
Sources say the government is considering releasing a job calender every year. This will be done after assessing the financial burden on the finance department.
The aim is to announce the job calender by Ugadi and begin filling vacancies accordingly. This move is expected to bring more transparency to government recruitment.
The decision has brought relief to unemployed youth across the state. Aspirants are now eagerly waiting for the official announcement of recruitment dates.
