The Vijayawada ACB Court has extended remand for the accused in AP liquor scam. It issued notices extending the remand till June 3.
As the earlier remand period will end today, the CID officials presented them before the Court. After hearing the arguments, the Court extended the remand.

It is known that the accused Raj Kasireddy, Sajjala Sridhar Reddy, Dhanunjaya Reddy, Krishnamohan Reddy, Govindappa Balaji, Dileep and Chanakya are in Vijayawada sub jail.
Meanwhile, SIT asked for one week custody of Dhanunjaya Reddy and Krishnamohan Reddy. The ACB will hear the plea. The Court has asked SIT to give a written report regarding the progress of the case.

On the other hand, Sajjala Sridhar Reddy and Dileep have filed a petition for bail. The police filed a counter asking not to give bail to them.
SIT officials asked for one week custody of Dhanunjaya Reddy and Krishnamohan Reddy and three day custody of Raj Kasireddy. Already they filed a petition for one week custody of Krishnamohan Reddy.

The custody petitions will be heard in coming two days. The accused have requested for provision of basic amenities in jail, which will also be heard by the Court.
