If there is one thing that Andhra Pradesh is exceptionally good at, when it comes to the electoral process, it would be the massive public turnout. This can be understood if we brace up the 2024 polling average of AP with that of the national average.
While the national average for the four phases of polling that has been completed in India till now is just 66.95%, the polling turnout in AP is much higher at 81+%. This is the kind of kasi(determination) that AP people have when it comes to the electoral roll.
Not many states, including Telangana, can boast of a better polling turnout than Andhra Pradesh.
While the fierce poll management strategies of YCP and TDP might be on one side, the general interest of the common public to cast their votes is also a key factor here.
Now that the first four phases of polling is done, there are three more phases remaining. The counting will be held on the 4th of June and the fate of not just AP, but also all of India will be out on this date.
