AP wins prestigious sports bid!

Andhra Pradesh had won the bid to organize 2019 National Games. This is a huge achievement to the state after the state bifurcation. And this will be a great fillip to sports infrastructure in AP.

Interestingly, Erst while Andhra Pradesh also won the bid for organizing National Games in 2002 and Afro-Asian Games in 2003 under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu back then.

Naidu’s successful organizing back then won so many accolades back then. At least 9,000 athletes from 33 sports disciplines will participate in the event which will be monitored by Indian Olympic Association (IOA).
