Union Minister for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu has announced that the highly anticipated Bhogapuram International Airport is fully prepared for its grand inauguration within the next month.
Speaking to media personnel in New Delhi following a high-level workshop reviewing the implementation and progress of the UDAN 2.0 regional connectivity scheme, the minister confirmed that the primary civil and structural construction work for the international transit hub has reached completion.
Emphasising the national importance of the infrastructure project, Ram Mohan Naidu shared that the Ministry of Civil Aviation has formally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to officially inaugurate the prestigious facility.
Government authorities are currently coordinating schedules to lock in the final launch date, immediately after which commercial flight operations and airport activities will fully commence within a tight 30-day window.
