Ramoji RaoFormer Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Saturday. The meeting between them lasted for 40 minutes. There were speculations that Chandrababu reached out to the BJP high command for an alliance.

Blue Media started giving a new twist to this meeting.

They say Chandrababu Naidu may have sought the BJP’s help to protect Eenadu chairman Ramoji Rao from the Jagan Mohan Reddy government in the Margadarsi Chit Fund company case.

APCID recently attached some assets of Margadarshi. They say Jagan may even resort to the arrest of Ramoji Rao and his daughter-in-law Sailaja Kiran to take revenge and also to stop Eenadu’s speed before the elections.

But then, this theory is outright silly. Ramoji Rao is closer to Modi and Shah than Chandrababu.

The relationship between Chandrababu and Modi even in 2014 was just for politics. Modi never likes Chandrababu for demanding his resignation after the Gujarat riots in 2002.

After the fallout between TDP and BJP in 2018, the relations soared further.

Eenadu is more important for the BJP in Telangana and even some of the other Northern states. That’s the reason why Ramoji Rao was invited and seated in the first row at Modi’s swearing-in ceremony.

If Ramoji Rao wants to reach out to Modi or Shah, there are more easily accessible ways than Chandrababu.
