Tuesday morning was a busy time for the bomb squads as Raj Bhavan received bomb threats. But it did not stop there. An email saying that bombs were placed at various places in the city was sent.
The places mentioned included City Civil Court, judge chambers, Gymkhana club, judge quarters. The Court was postponed and cleared for checks. Dog and bomb squads are carrying out the checks. On the other hand, a mail from Abida Abdulla said RDX bombs and IEDs were placed in Raj Bhavan.
Bomb squads and dog squads carried out the checks in Raj Bhavan. Following the Pahalgam incident, there have been threats to Shamshabad airport and Secunderabad railway station.
The latest threats have caused panic among citizens of Telangana. Fortunately, none of the threats turned true.
Hyderabad police have started the process of tracing emails and to figure out who sent them. The repeated use of high profile buildings has led to the police being on high alert.
