Vasupalli Ganesh was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly from the South Visakhapatnam constituency as a TDP nominee in the 2019 general elections. However, he later switched to the YSRCP, despite facing objections from some party leaders. Following his entry into the YSRCP, Ganesh encountered several challenges while trying to integrate with the party cadre.
Amidst these challenges, posters targeting Visakhapatnam MLA Vasupalli Ganesh have resurfaced. These posters were prominently displayed throughout the South Constituency overnight, alleging that positions were up for sale, leading to significant controversy.
The posters, reading ‘Book My MLA,’ were placed in TIDCO houses, temples, chairperson posts, and party posts, suggesting they could be purchased. The posters also contained text indicating that a 40 percent commission was available to dealers. However, the MLA’s supporters noticed the posters and promptly removed them earlier today.
So far, neither the MLA nor his followers have responded to this matter. It is worth noting that similar posters have been displayed against MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar in the past. A faction within the YSRCP has had ongoing conflicts with Vasupalli Ganesh for an extended period, and he suspects YSRCP leaders may be behind these posters.
