YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana was rushed to Hyderabad on Thursday night following a brain stroke. The former minister was admitted to City Neuro Center.
After immediate care, Botsa is undergoing treatment at the facility. The doctors say his condition is stable. He is presently in ICU and the YSRCP cadre is praying for his speedy recovery.
He is currently the leader of opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Initially from the Congress, he later joined YSR Congress in 2015. He is the ex minister of MAUD and ex minister of education.
Botsa is known to be an active voice of YSRCP in the Legislative Council and his sudden illness is bound to impact YSRCP’s strategy in the Council.
Botsa is known for aggressively taking on the ruling party. YSRCP cadre is concerned that some of the top YSRCP leaders are going slow due to health reasons. In the past, Kodali Nani had a heart surgery and has gone quiet. Even Vallabhaneni Vamsi developed health problems and is maintaining a low profile.
With Jagan’s spokespersons going out of public sphere, AP citizens are wondering how will Jagan handle the dearth of leaders.
