Buggana Rajendranath Reddy is one of the most vocal leaders in the YSR Congress. He was made the PAC Chairman when YSR Congress was in the Opposition in 2014-19. He became the Finance Minister after coming to power.
Once in power, Buggana suffered big time. He is completely delegated only to sitting in Delhi and bringing loans to fund Jagan’s freebies.
His reputation suffered and also he lost in the recent election.
Buggana has stayed away from his constituency ever since the election loss.
After the results, he addressed two pressmeets. One was in the last week of July, and the other was today.

Today’s Pressmeet about claiming credit for the Central Government approving Polavaram’s Revised Estimates.
On both occasions, Buggana was speaking from Hyderabad Press Club in Somajiguda. The question is why Buggana is avoiding Andhra Pradesh and his own constituency.
In a review meeting recently, Jagan schooled the party leaders and incharges for not staying in the constituencies. Most of them have shifted to Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai and have become busy in their businesses after the elections.
Many are fearing arrests in the new government. They do not want to be available to the Police by staying in Andhra Pradesh. Hence, they shifted to other states.
Buggana was instrumental in many financial blunders that happened during Jagan’s regime. Probably, he also fears cases and arrests in the new government.
