Sharath Koppu’s untimely death in the foreign country pushed the family into immense grief while the Telangana government along with the Indian embassy has promised support in bringing back the body to Hyderabad. Last year it was Kuchibhotla, who was killed by a racist in the same city and now Sharath Koppu killed for no reason by a robber.

Police have released a CCTV footage from the restaurant in Kansas where Sharath was working part-time. As it is seen the video, the man in the brown T-shirt with white stripes with braided hair looked suspicious holding a garment in hand to hide the gun and was seen walking in and out of the shop. As the witnesses say, Sharath asked the man for the bill before he started to fire.
The robber fired around 5 shots in the room while the others ducked but Sharath who was scared turned back and tried to run away. That is when the accused shot him in the back and he fell down right away. Police are yet to catch the shooter and are offering a $10,000 reward for any information about the man shown in the footage. Then Kuchibhotla and now Sharath Koppu, Kansas is just engulfing the Indian young.
