The committee further added that it could coordinate with Railways regarding acquiring more land.

While the committee said no to Vijayawada East bypass, it suggested that a link road of 18 km to ORR be constructed. This will mean it will be constructed from Kaja on Vijayawada west bypass. A cloverleaf interchange will have to come up at Kaja junction, the committee stated.

The committee also suggested that the state government take measures to stop buying and selling of land within 500 Mt of ORR alignment.

As for service roads, the committee said the state government must consider them only within the ring road.
