Today, September 5 happens to be teachers Day and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided this is the right occasion to reward the government employees in the state.
After days of friction between government, employees and the government of Andhra Pradesh regarding the enhanced pay scale and other allowances, an amicable solution has been found.
CM Chandrababu has assured the employee union that he would soon start the establishment of the PRC which is the Pay Revision commission that look after the salary increment process.
This happens to be a crucial step towards the establishment of common Ground between the government and the employees union, which is crucial to curb any kind of friction.
Also, it has been communicated that the two pending DAs from January 2024, and January 2025 will be cleared on priority. Along with that, the additional pension for more than four lakh government employees in the state will be disbursed from January 2027.
The government of Andhra Pradesh has been working towards friendly governance and being in good terms with all sections of the public, and this is a crucial step in pacifying the government employees movement.
