The Andhra Pradesh Government has approved two additional vehicles for Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s convoy. Two new Toyota Fortuners will soon be added, and ₹88 lakh has been sanctioned for their purchase.
After Chandrababu returned to power, his intelligence team in Tadepalli finalised an 11-vehicle convoy for his movement. Among them, two vehicles act as signal jammers to ensure top-level security.
All cars in the convoy are black Toyota models with special 393 registration numbers reserved exclusively for the Chief Minister’s fleet.
Each vehicle is custom-built to meet the specific needs of Chandrababu and his security detail. The CM’s convoy operates under multi-layered protection, and the vehicles are periodically replaced based on threat assessments.
The lead vehicle functions as the pilot car, followed by Chandrababu’s VVIP car, which is either a Toyota Land Cruiser or Fortuner.
Escort and backup vehicles follow, maintaining strict formation and communication protocols. Some car models remain undisclosed due to security reasons.
