Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu has been very consolidated with his stand on Amaravati as the capital of the state. He has even gotten the required legislation of the same in the Parliament recently as Amaravati is recognised as the solitary capital of AP.
However, former chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has a contradicting stand on the capital as he has switched from the three capitals proposal to MAVIGUN. He said this will be the election motive for YSR Congress as only those who believe in him and MAVIGUN will vote for YCP in the next election.
This has invited a strong reaction from chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, and he kept things simple yet striking while reacting on this matter.
Chandrababu said Amaravati is going to continue as the solitary and recognised capital while this trash talk on MAVIGUN will be bluntly rejected by the people.
The chief minister pointed out that the former CM is done with the ugly games that he played with three capitals proposal, and he has now shifted to another preposterous MAVIGUN. This invited a strong reaction from the public meeting today as people overwhelmingly shouted that Amaravati is the mainstream capital and there’s no changing it.
