YSR Congress President and the Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy once again received the summons of ED court to attend before the court on 23rd of this month after perusing the chargesheet filed by the ED in Ramky Pharmacity episode of the Jagan’s disproportionate assets case. Along with Jagan, his auditor and now Rajya Sabha member Vijay Sai Reddy, industrialist Ayodhyarami Reddy, IAS officer G Venkatram Reddy and two firms Ramky Pharmacity and Jagati Publications also got the notices.

Ramky Pharmacity is in Paravada mandal of Visakhapatnam district. The allegation is that the accused are facing charges of making undue benefit of `130 crore to Ramky Pharmacity by reducing the green belt area to be developed by the firm. Ramky sold away this space and big money and in turn invested Jagathi publications, the publishers of Sakshi Telugu newspaper, as part of a quid pro quo arrangement between Jagan and Ayodhyarami Reddy.
ED filed its charge sheet on the same case under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). YSR Congres leaders say this is a conspiracy of TDP and BJP to send Jagan to jail once again. They allege that CM Chandrababu Naidu cut a deal with the center while agreeing to the Special Package in lieu of sending Jagan Mohan Reddy to jail. The Party leaders are worried if Jagan has to count the bars once again.
