After facing initial issues in Rajahmundry(Rural), Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are now addressing concerns in two other constituencies, Pendurthi and Amalapuram. Rajahmundry(Rural) was resolved by swapping it with Nidadavolu. Now, there are discussions regarding Pendurthi and Amalapuram.
Pendurthi, originally allotted to Janasena, is a seat that TDP leaders in the joint Visakhapatnam district want for themselves. There are talks about TDP giving Madugula to Janasena in exchange for Pendurthi. Meanwhile, in Amalapuram, TDP has Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy as its candidate, and there is a request to swap it with P. Gannavaram, where Janasena has a strong candidate.
Rammohan Naidu’s Father-In-Law Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy is the TDP candidate. In yesterday, Rammohan Naidu also involved in the discussion with CBN. While insiders from both parties suggest that discussions on the majority of seats have been finalized, there are ongoing talks about these two specific seats. TDP leaders, including Achchennaidu, are taking responsibility for discussions and convincing their party leaders.
The adjustment of seats between TDP and Janasena seems to be nearing completion. It’s reported that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena president Pawan Kalyan met recently to finalize the seat-sharing arrangement. The final list of 24 assembly seats allocated to Janasena was reportedly approved during this meeting, with only discussions on Pendurthi and Amalapuram still ongoing.
