Naidu Should Implement Jagan Model In Jail

Chandrababu-Naidu-YS-Jagan-It has been around three weeks since Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was jailed in a case with flimsy ground. There has been a feeling that TDP is going through a leadership crisis since Naidu is arrested and Lokesh is busy in Delhi busy brainstorming with lawyers about how to bring his father out.

Telugu Desam Cadre is fully active on the ground but still, YSR Congress is trying to create it as a crisis and TDP is in danger. The delay in Yuva Galam also contributed to this propaganda.

At this juncture, Chandrababu Naidu should adopt the ‘Jagan Model’ in jail.

Back in 2012, Jagan Mohan Reddy used to use all his Mulakat opportunities to meet political leaders, industrialists, and influential personalities to create a perception.

He even used to summon leaders of one constituency at a time and talk to them as if a review meeting.

We also saw him meeting Nimmagadda Prasad, Nagarjuna, and others in Mulakat.

In contrast, Naidu has been meeting his family members. Bhuvaneshwari and Brahmani were constant in all Mulakats and they were followed by one more senior leader of the party. Earlier when Lokesh was in Rajahmundry, he used to join Bhuvaneshwari and Brahmani.

Only one Mulakat when Lokesh, Balakrishna, and Pawan Kalyan met Naidu was completely political. But to create a perception of political activity, more political Mulakats are needed.

Sadly on the part of Naidu, the Government and jail authorities are very strict about the Mulakats. He is only allowed two per week. Back when Jagan got arrested, the the Government used to be very lenient on Mulakats.

Given the circumstances, it is a very tough decision for Smt Bhuvaneshwari but there is no way out. Some more sacrifices are needed since elections are fast approaching.
