Rumors are flying thick and fast about a possible reunion of TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena President Pawan Kalyan to defeat the common enemy, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. A few TDP leaders are already talking about it.
With anti-incumbency rising, a United Opposition means the Opposition vote is not split. But then, the top leadership is silent as usual and are keeping the cadres guessing. But then, this is a decision that should be taken very soon if the combination has to work out.
The bridges have been burnt for so long and there is a wide gap between some sections of supporters of both the parties. Film rivalry made things much worse. So, it needs some time to iron out the differences and ensure smooth votes transfer.
Also an alliance just before the elections will looks like an opportunistic relationship to the public. If that should be avoided, it’s high time Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan take a decision and move forward towards the next steps.
