Jagan Mohan Reddy had started his election campaign in the name of Memantha Siddham. YSR Congress and I-PAC is carefully planning the campaign to show crowds. Buses with people are being arranged from four districts to give a feeler that there is an overwhelming response to Jagan.
Even then, there is a lack of proper response. Due to the scorching sun, crowd mobilization is becoming difficult. Sakshi stopped the live telecast of the Yatra and is telecasting it with edited footage.
I-PAC is selecting people to interact with Jagan. We can see paper slips being distributed to them and they are reading praises of Jagan from them.
Some of them are stumbling and struggling to speak from memorized words embarrassing Jagan in live telecasts.
Some people are talking out of their turn and are complaining about various issues causing headaches for the YSR Congress.
The other day, there was a group of women who protested before Jagan with water cans complaining about their water problem.
And then, the Opposition and media exposed how Jagan tried to portray Yemmiganur candidate Butta Renuka as financially struggling even though she is one of the richest politicians of Andhra Pradesh.
And then, a chappal was hurled at Jagan in Gooty, Anantapur and that was the final nail in the coffin.
This has happened in Rayalaseema which is supposed to be Jagan’s strong forte. People are saying – “If this is the case with Rayalaseema. just imagine the anti-incumbency with entire Andhra Pradesh?”
The video has gone viral on social media and Whatsapp and has become a sensation across the state.
Jagan is carefully feeding PR content to the National Media with edited footage of crowds creating an impression that he is very popular in Andhra Pradesh.
That videos on National Media will be brought again to the social media by I-PAC teams blabbering that National Media is agog about Jagan’s popularity.
But then, the Chappal video was also picked by the National Media embarrassing Jagan.
Jagan was reportedly upset with these back-to-back setbacks and had halted the Yatra for today in the name of Easter.
Party machinery and I-PAC teams will have a meeting with Jagan to explain what is going wrong and how they are going to be better prepared.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu is addressing three roadshows per day and there is a sensational response everywhere. The fact that Naidu is drawing massive crowds in Rayalaseema is very worrying for Jagan Mohan Reddy.
On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan also started his election campaign from Pitapuram and the heat is on from YSR Congress from all sides.
